	Feb. 5-6	The Knickerbocker Ice Festival The cure for cabin fever is the Lake Mills Knickerbocker Ice Festival! Enjoy ice golf, a fisheree, ice sculptures, Sno Ball eating contest, Frozen Fish toss and the IdiderDAD race, as well as a chili cook-off , raffle and new this year, a Trivia Contest on Friday night.
	Wednesday Evenings 2:00 ‘til dusk May-October Commons Park	Farmers Markets From May thru October enjoy the open market of fresh produce, flowers, antiques and crafts in Commons Park. Applications for the 2010 season will be available after April 6th.
	July 17 10:00am to 4:00pm Commons Park	Lake Mills Arts Festival Back by popular demand is the 5th annual juried show of regional fine artists selling art and demonstrating their trade. Festival includes children’s activities, live music and food.
	October	Scarecrow Contest A little creativity, a few items from your attic or favorite thrift store and a scarecrow frame is all you need to enter this contest. Any individual, family, business or group is invited to participate. Link for Rules and Regulations Link for Scarecrow Entry Form
	October 2 Downtown Lake Mills	The Painted Ladies Annual Fling A community event celebrating the renaissance of downtown Lake Mills. Event includes live music, silent and live auctions and wine tasting at designated locations in downtown.
	October 27, 4-6 p.m.	Witches Night Out Kids trick or treat with our downtown merchants and Farmers' Market vendors. It’s fun for the whole family with spine tingling music, ghost stories, scream contest and best costume contest.
	November 26, 6:15 p.m. Commons Park	Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony The evening includes caroling, refreshments and a visit from Santa who will light the Community Christmas Tree with his “special magic.”
